Excellent portable BBQ
Bought this relatively lightweight BBQ for baking scones and cakes on the road and general BBQ duties during our camping travels.
Some, but not a lot of, assembly required involving a few basic tools such as screw drivers and socket set (but you could get by with just a couple of medium philips head screwdrivers and a pair of pliers).
Instructions were the pictorial as is common these days. Older buyers might need eyeglasses for the diagrams that show how parts fit together, especially the gas components.
Legs fold under and external trays easily fold and come off for storage in smaller spaces. We found the item both solid feeling and relatively light, and with a brand name we trust.
Once assembled and gas connected test showed instant results, and rapid heating with hood down. Excellent temperature control reflected in thermometer on hood top.
First trial cook of butterflied chicken was simple and delicious. Results far exceeded expectations. We have a similar style and size BBQ at home, but this streets ahead.
Of course it’s early days, but we are really pleased with the purchase and would readily recommend it to other campers.

Ripper of a Shower - Excellent Water Flow
Just started with a camper trailer off grid. No amenities. Tried a similar shower a friend had liked it so got this one. Seller local and arrived quick smart.
Tested AOK. Minor hiccup starting the device which we put down to faulty cigarette lighter outlet in one of our cars, because it worked immediately in the other one. We have changed the outlet to an Anderson plug for use with our solar setup because we will rarely be using it at the car. Actually we do have Anderson plugs in the car too - so we could if we wanted to. Hint. Anderson plugs much more reliable than cig style plugs and they are not expensive.
Back to device. Our brief test with 2nd car showed the water flow to be surprisingly strong. This can be adjusted via a simple button. On/off control also simple.
Our setup:
* mid sized flexible tub (from Bunnings for a few $)
* solar shower bag (just to heat the water for free - cost about $20 for a pair)
* mix hot/cold water in tub.
* drop pump into water
* turn on shower and enjoy the comforts of home in the bush
This has turned our basic camper into a virtual resort (if you like a nice shower away from home). So much better than the gravity feed solar shower alone.

Grommet Kit - Cheap but Quality Item
Bought this item after finding our old canvas awning was missing an eyelet. We decided to sell and it is a bad look selling an awning for a camper which has a hole but no proper fastener installed. Of course last trip out it did have, but clearly it came out at some stage.
Ordered the kit which arrived in only a few days. Included 50 pairs of 1/2" brass grommets in the old scale (I think 12 or 13mm diameter). Plus 3 small lightweight tools, being a hole cutter, grommet holder and turnover tool. You just need your canvas, tarp or other material and a hammer plus a solid block of wood or similar to place it on.
Items come in a neat cheap plastic box which keeps the bits tidy.
I have used it possibly. dozen separate times, including today camping with my brother who needed a couple of grommets installed in a shade screen. Worked a breeze.
