Great product
I have three, none have failed. The oldest one has come out of its boot slightly but has been used daily for three years - which is the best lifespan I've ever had with any lightning cable. Be warned, if you use an Otter box and an iPhone 6 or 7 this cable won't fit the Otter box, but it's worth it.

Excellent machine!
Can't possibly believe you can do better than this machine. It records on both single and dual layer discs in a multitude of speeds, and you can record either VHS-DVD or DVD-VHS. The one thing I noticed, and I wish I had some of my tapes back from 5-7 years ago that I got rid of, is that the clarity of the dub from VHS-DVD was flawless. It has built in tracking and time base correction, and it is unbelievable how great it is. If you had a dual deck VCR back in the day and you remember the difference in the dubs compared to two VCRs with cables, you'll absolutely love this machine. The DVD absolutely looks better than the original VHS tape, which shouldn't be possible. All in all, I got this machine for less than $80 here, and it was the best piece of equipment I ever bought.
