Boring film with no chemistry
0 of 3 found this helpful I was looking forward to watching this film as the plot seemed engaging. I have not read the book, which hopefully was better. The copy of this DVD was supposedly for rental with no extra features. I must say that all of the beginning titles were written in a foreign language with strange characters and the subtitles were pitifully paraphrased by someone without much command of the English language. The sound quality was poor and the characters seemed to lack emotion as many of them mumbled in monotones (hence my need to employ the subtitles). There was no chemistry! The film seemed to last an eternity! A friend of mine saw it in the theater and fell asleep! To sum it up, I was very disappointed!

Liar Series 1, A thriller with superb acting!
This is a very gripping series with a suspenseful plot. The acting is brilliant, especially from Joanne Froggatt, which should come as no surprise considering her performance on Downton Abbey.
