The Slipper and the Rose
The music is great!!! The colors of the costumes were wonderful! The stage props were really amazing. Too bad they called it too soon as far as not airing it along with all the other movies. It was fun to watch as there are some whit and whimsey along with it. It is one of the long forgotten gems of movie making.

Great stories of women who won! Very inspirational!

But as I looked at the pages I got very excited to see she (Aleene) actually went out of her way to promote other crafters. She told about their story and how their idea came to be. I love stories like this. It's
down to earth;and I can really relate to their circumstances. I hope someone will take the idea of incorporating other people's stories with their dreams and seeing what can happen!

I love homemade period. That includes paper making.
A great book for those who want to do something really different for a gift. It does take time, so give this papermaking idea a week to make enough for your ideas and gifts. it is exciting to make something over. Polly gives very detailed discriptions and adding a bit of this and a bit of that. Then forming it into something very useable. My library had a copy of it and I loved it. But on the back cover was the library card envelope. Glued to the most important part of the whole book! Well I had to get a copy. It's more of her works and more books about papermaking. I'm glad I got my own! Now I can go for more!!!
