The design leads to linger life.
The bristles are arranged in a ring. At the centre is a rubbery nubbin a few millimetres in diameter. This may act to polish my teeth and keep them whiter.
An even greater benefit: it takes the load if I press too hard.
Usually, the bristles become flattened early on when I’m using a new brush-head. Not with these; they are lasting well and retaining the original shape far better than I expected.
Almost certainly I’m pressing as hard as ever (not really a good thing) yet this design of brush-head can withstand my exuberant efforts.

Point-and-Shoot for Camera Nerds
1 of 1 found this helpful Fifteen years after learning of this camera, I bought one — for monochrome work. It’s tiny, lightweight and, after a bit of learning, quite easy to use.
My background is 50+ years of film photography therefore I have no problem if the images have some digital noise — which roughly mimics film grain.
There are likely many cameras that are technically better than v1.0 of the Ricoh GR Digital. Right now, this is the best camera for me; coming from film work and desiring a camera that can be configured for fixed focus* (Ricoh’s “Snap Focus” setting, and fully manual exposure settings. It is incredibly small and capable for the work I want to do with it.
*overriding autofocus; distance set to 2 metres.
This is a camera with a cult following and not recommended for non-geeky camera users.

Want Velcro between gloves & bar?
Much stickier than Renthal Kevlar grips. These don’t give me the impression of being long-lived. So be it. The grippiness is phenomenal. I’ve glued mine on with a moisture-cure polyurethane construction caulking (Dymonic 100). And lots of it. Renthal Grip Glue is tough to source at an economical price.
I’ve used 5 double wraps of 0.032” stainless steel wire on each grip. I believe that helps keep the glue-bond intact. Just call it full-motocross.
I’ve ordered another pair for my private stock.
5 stars all the way. In the first 10 seconds of riding, I said: “Wow, me like”.
The black bar-end plugs fit WAY better if you wrap each in 2” long piece of PEX water line, slit lengthwise.
There: you’re set to rip.
Photo is marked up to emphasize the 5 positions of safety wire.
