Sharpen at the correct angle for you knife.
It’s great to have a small sharpening steel available when hiking, camping, or just away from home. Always remember, though, to run the blade across it at the correct angle for the knife you are sharpening.

Finally...a comfortable way to carry my hand cannon!
This is the most comfortable means I have found to carry a large revolver. Keep in mind we aren’t talking about a small concealable semi-auto, this holster is meant to make light work of carrying a 4 or 5 pound plus hand cannon when afield. Certainly if you adjust everything right and wear very bulky clothes I suppose you could conceal it, but It is designed to put the revolver front and center at your finger tips while distributing the weight between shoulders and waist. I would recommend it for that purpose.

It works as well as the more expensive speed-loaders and holds up under continued use.
