Interesting title
My grandaughter (6) and I have read this book several times and now when she finds an interesting piece of wood, she brings it home and we make up stories about where it might have come from and the different "adventures" it has "seen". We enjoy the story and the illustrations are wonderful.

Intriging title.
When I first saw that this was a poetry book, I thought my granddaughter wouldn't like it. I was wrong. I enjoyed it and so did my granddaughter. Once again, Sharon Creech comes through with a book that teaches a lesson through interesting characters.

Love of Goldens
Everyone loves puppies! This book is bout the love between Golden Retrievers and their families. There are some good stories that anyone who has ever loved any dog can identify with.
