Kitchenaid beater

This beater is sturdy and did a good job of wiping the sides of the mixer bowl as it turned. I previously had a beater with an edge on one side only. It was plastic and somehow got twisted. I like that this has edges on both sides and is made out of metal. I use this in place of the beater that came with the machine.

Seconds display helptul, with solar backup

I reset the time zone, waited overnight and the clock set itself to the correct time. A previous, more expensive atomic clock would not stay at the right time, even after manually setting the time. I like the solar option and the seconds display. I have it in my kitchen so I can time things when I am cooking.
