Excellent roller skate upgrade
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought these to replace the VERY cheap bearings in my son's "learner" roller skates.
He is 7 years old and was having a hard time learning to skate. I thought perhaps it was that the bearings were so bad that he was constantly pushing and slowing down immediately.
Yesterday, we went roller skating for the first time since getting the bearings... and he can now push off, coast and turn like you should be able to! He no longer stops a few feet after his last push off!
Normally, my son gets tired after less than an hour or so because he is constantly fighting the skates and wants to go home. Not so yesterday! We only left after 2 & 1/2 hours of skating because we were hungry!
It was so great to see him rolling around the rink, enjoying himself and his newfound speed! I'm a proud papa! :)
PS - We did not use the spacers since they didn't fit his roller skates, but the bearings and speed washers were a perfect fit!
