One of the best books ever writen for gear heads, period.

This is the book that inspired alot of us motorcyclist to become career powersports industry professionals. This book covers every aspect of motorcycle repair. The book is dated, because when the book was written, fuel injection was rare on motorcycles. Motorcycle technology advances yearly, but in order to understand the complicated bikes of today, you need to have your history straight. If you have a desire to be a master bike tech like me, or if you just want to learn more about motorcycles, this is the book to read to get your foundation on motorcycle repair/theory. I have read this book twenty times and I am a MMI alumni. Some of the instructors at MMI don't even know this book exists. MMI does not use this book anymore, because the technology changes constantly. This book is not a service manual. It is to be used as a guide to understand a motorcycle service manual. Another book that flows along the lines of this book if you can find it is the Honda common service manual. If you can get one of these, do it. You won't see mine up on an auction block until I am dead and gone. LOL
