V: Original Miniseries (REGION A Blu-ray New)

Excellent HD Transfer, Region Free As Well

So glad that Warner decided to bring the mini-series out on blu ray. For those unsure about whether this will play in the U.K. (region B), even though it says region A only, I can definitely confirm that it will. I received my blu ray from the U.S. and it plays like a charm on my region B locked player, therefore it is region free. From experience, Warner Archive releases are all region free.

Looks Beautiful, Once Assembled

I have to say, I'm really glad that I bought this, in the end. Being flat-packed, I was a bit nervous about assembling it but, once you get over that and get stuck in, it really isn't that hard to assemble. The instructions are pretty easy to follow, telling you how to prepare each part with the necessary fixings. All the fixings come in separate bags with alphabetical letters to let you know what type of fixings are in each. It would be a good idea to get a pot for each little bag of fixings so that you don't get them mixed up. I managed to put this together on my own and to be honest, was quite proud of myself as I consider myself to be quite an amateur. As long as you have common sense though, can read instructions properly and have the patience, I don't see why anyone wouldn't be able to assemble this. Don't feel daunted by it being self-assembly. If I could do it, I'm sure that whoever reads this can, and once finished, it really does look lovely.
