Marvelous desserts
What a wonderful surprise! I found favorite pastries and cookies I remember as a little girl visiting my great parents. It is a perfectly perfect baking book.

One of my favorite historians
Cecil Woodham-Smith writes The Great Hunger with precision and pathos. The story of the Irish Famine is a complex one and the millions who died and suffered changed the futures of two countries, Ireland and America. It's felt to this day.

It's time to bake again!
1 of 1 found this helpful I had this cookbook years ago and loved it! Every recipe in it was delicious! After a total and disastrous fire five years ago, I lost every cookbook and others -- about three thousand total. Replacing now only the favored ones and this is one! Buy it!
