    Sony Ericsson Aino (White)
My previous phone was the C905 which I loved except for the fact that it broke every other week! I wanted to stick with Sony Ericsson because I like the User Interface and the high camera quality, so it was either the Aino or the Satio. As I work on building sites I figured the full touch screen Satio wouldn't last a day, hence I bought the Aino. The screen is a lot taller than the C905 but turned on it's side it makes the perfect wide screen media player/camera. Despite being 8.1 megapixels, the same as the C905, I wouldn't say the camera on this is as good, as the settings have been simplified for touch screen configuration. Incidentally the touch screen is ONLY operative when the slider is closed. The media player is very good and the bluetooth headset control is very effective. It took me a while to figure out how to change the volume on it (you don't just press the + or - buttons you drag your thumb across in the direction you want the volume to change) but the control is very lightweight and despite having a clip to fasten to a collar is actually light enough to just leave swinging freely (with skull candy headphones, I'm not sure if this would work with in-ear ones). The only way to clear your internet search history, i.e. things you have actually typed in to look for, is with through the 'search' link on the shortcuts. You won't be able to do it if you actually open the internet icon itself. In hindsight it wasn't the wisest choice getting the white one considering my job involves me getting my hands filthy, but it does look a lot smarter than the black one and a baby wipe brings it up good as new every time! There is a torch feature where by the flash can be switched on, off, timed on for a minute or flash SOS morse code! Track ID is still there so just hold it next to loud music, press start and it will ID the song and artist and provide you with a link to buy it should you wish. Text messages can be sent and read in conversation style similar to the iphone. There is obviously the PS3 remote control function which, as I'm not a gamer, I'm not too familiar with but given the standard of everything else on the phone I'm sure it will be good. There is a TV option under media which takes you straight to the BBC iplayer but it only works on certain networks. The quality of the music player, as you would expect with anything affiliated with Sony, is superb. Applications include facebook, and if you debrand the handset to the right region you can also get twitter as well. Bluetooth robot is the only pointless app on there considering the the bluetooth robot it is designed to control is discontinued and the ones that are available are fortunes. I'm not sure why they put this feature on unless they're planning on re-releasing the robots but I assume something would've been announced by now. Accuweather is very good and much better than the rubbish the Met Office throw out! Music quiz is quite good too. It imports all the music in your library then plays you the beginning of a song and presents you with multiple choice answers against the clock to name the track. I've not played with Media Home on it yet but you can update content on your phone wirelessly through your pc (I think). Overall the phone is really good. The battery life is very reasonable. It's got proper buttons for texting and calling and touch screen for media player and camera function (and some aftermarket apps) so it's the best of both worlds!

    Good quality
I ordered two of these. They are both very good quality and the parts are very sturdy when being connected. Even the stones in the glove seem very secure. Definitely recommended!
