A great looking Item but the drive gears are poor and this item did not operate "out-of-the-box". In fact I had to get new gears from Bachmann to refit. The new gears are also rubbish due to the plastic material used. The item is too heavy to be propel along the train track by plastic gears!!!

Excellent scaled model for actual lifting/holding 20` shipping containers
THE PRODUCT HAS PLASTIC AXLES WHICH ARE EASILY BROKEN WHEN FITTING THE WHEELS - Replace the axles with wire rod {tie wire etc] and all will be well and good! A great model but read the instructions carefully to make sure that no excessive glueing is done to interfere with the up & down sliding of the lifting apparatus. Download the instructions from Walthers / Cornerstone as well as use the Kibri Instructions that come with the kit - both instructions suit this kit!!!
