The product programed like a new Controler only one step different when it say please wait and spins you need to unplug it to reset after firmware update
I purchased 3 one I needed to program the handset as it would not like with the base to be able to put in the the WIFI password just press the left and right fast forward reverse buttons for 3 seconds and you are good to go
