New Essential Music Theory Grade 1 Book by Dr Gordon Spearritt
30 March 2017
Perfect for begginers, but it could come with the answers.
The language in the book it's very easy, and the examples and exercise are enjoyable. I'm learning how to read music sheet and this book it's a perfect start. I can recommend this book to anyone who's starting to read sheet. The author takes you from zero to almost intermediate. The method is full of theory and exercises that proceed gradually from the very beginner, so you can progress without giving up. It also prepares you to next levels which are a collection. I removed a star because it doesn't come with the answers. So, you have to find the answers on the Internet, and you are never sure if they're right which "obligates" you to buy the answers book from the same collection.
New Planet Waves Vari-Grip Guitarists' Hand Exerciser - Vari Grip Varigrip VG-01
30 March 2017
I wish it had a lighter tension
I'm a beginner guitar player, and I've chosen the Vari-Grip because of the tension adjustment. However, the lightest tension it's really hard, so I don't see any reasons I'd ever get to the strongest tension. Unless I use 2 fingers for each button. In overall it's nice. I exercise every day at work, and I'm getting used to the strength, though. I suggest you play more than exercise, especially for build calluses on your fingers.
