If your motor calls for this size, this is the best bet you have.
Is not the same P/N as taken off motor and no literature, Merc specs, Gold Medal Merc experts,web sites could find the original pieces number, if you are running long distances down a river, buy a spare to take along as this will almost always be the first thing to go wrong with your 200 Optimax - part is working very well, have at least 250 Mi. on it., there are cheaper off brand ones, but Yes, they are cheaper, .

I will try a different brand.
It is effective when set on continuous, when a percent is used, it does not run - the old Frigidaire next to it set at same percent does, so this 1 must be left on continuous. The last same Frigidaire 70 Pt, had to be refunded as it would not operate. The old 20 Yr. plus Frigidaire keeps on going.
