More appropriate for police, not target use
1 of 1 found this helpful It is constructed well. It fits my Beretta M9 perfectly ( nearly identical to the Beretta 92FS ). Thumb release is crisp. That being said, I do not like the "pinch" retention system. I am not a LEO, just a guy who shoots targets. The retention system holds on too tight and makes drawing the pistol a two handed effort. It might be better if I used a proper duty belt and belt retainers- I'm not going to make that investment just yet. If you don't need the insurance the retention system offers, maybe you should look for another holster. It was a good price... I'll keep it but don't love it for my purposes. I am considering ways to break off the plastic pinch system.
