Not What I Expected
I bought this on eBay and paid for it... And then I read the reviews that said that it stunk... that it was some kind of blasphemy to the original recipe Tubular Bells. "Oh... it is sooo awful to hear these musical passages played using MIDI instruments." or "Having John Cleese from Monty Python announce the musical instruments proves that Mike Oldfield not only KNOWS that this is a joke... he's laughing at the poor suckers that bought this crud". So I was apprehensive & reluctant about hearing it. Well, I got the CD and put it on... waiting for my ears to hear this... this... TRAVESTY. And ya know what? It's GREAT! It sounds very refreshing to hear this new version of Tubular Bells. As far as John Cleese, he's perfect for the narrator job. He's funny, yes. The music is fun, yes. It's a good time. Yeah. NO, it's not the original - remixed or whatever. It's different. It's also faithful to the original composition. I'm very pleased to have this record in my collection.

Too Exact / Perfect
This is a very accurate tuner... and more. Tuning by strobe is the desired method for any instrument. The Stroboclip HD tuner does that. I tuned my '75 Les Paul Deluxe to the "exact" tunings for every string. . . Strummed a chord.... hated it. It's too exact! Too static! So I tried the Sweetener option for guitar... retuned my Les Paul and... it's PERFECT! I'm very happy with this tuner. I think you will enjoy it as well.
