Great replacement
Had my doubts about the quality because of the price. When I opened the box the replacement was a bit chintzier than the OEM version. However, I used the wiring harness that came with the replacement, attached the bottom piece from the old unit, plugged it into the fridge and pushed it in place. Watched many YouTube videos on the subject which made replacing a breeze. Ice started falling in the bin within 2 hours. Cost me $210 in total for a repairmen to come diagnose and replace the ice maker the last time it stopped working. Feels good to do the job myself. Now we will see how long this one lasts, the others lasted 3 and 9 years.
