Better than all the rest !
I have replaced all of the plastic wheels on my G-Scale collection (over 90 cars) with steel wheels because I like steel wheels over plastic - much more realistic sounding!
I discovered these wheels about 6 months ago and have purchased several sets now - unlike cast wheels these appear to be higher quality with a much brighter shine - plus they are a lot cheaper than the G Scale manufacturers versions.
I recommend any collector of G-Scale model trains to try these - you wont be disappointed.
I just ordered another set of 8 axles.

Item like new, price very fair.
Item in immaculate condition - seems to had very little use and a very welcome addition to my collection.

PIKO stands up as being equal to or better than all the other (more expensive) G Scale model trains.
I have collected G Scale model trains for quite a few years and have models from Aristocraft (now defunct), USA Trains and LGB - totaling 8 Diesel locos, 1 Steam Loco, five passenger carriages and 70 goods wagons. The LGB product is - I think - insanely overpriced). I started taking notice of PIKO a few years ago when I noticed the detail was as good as any of the other makers were producing so I purchased a PIKO electric loco for about half the price of the USA Trains loco's and 1/3 the price of LGB - and was dumbfounded to find that it's as good - in detail and in performance - in fact it handles uneven track variations far better than the other trains and never even looks like derailing. I now have 3 PIKO Passenger Cars and 7 Piko Goods wagons as well.
I would recommend PIKO to anyone out there who might be procrastinating about indulging in the hobby ! The only negative is that the loco requires more frequent lubrication than the others but I feel that's a small price to pay.
