Fantastic Formula
4 of 4 found this helpful Intrigued by the tubes concept, I splurged and bought my first Blinc Mascara at a store for about $20. Now that it's time to replace it, I can get it cheaper here on Ebay. Although this mascara doesn't provide a huge amount of volume, it adds enough definition and length for my taste. Unlike regular mascaras, you have to build up the look you want all at once while it's still wet, which takes some getting used to, but it also tends to clump far less than regular mascaras. Blinc comes in a great variety of colors (black, brown, blue, green and purple). A lot of other companies seem to be discontinuing colors except black and brown. For me, the best thing about Blinc is that it stays on all day, but it comes off with just warm water and a little pressure. No flaking, a real pain for contacts wearers... Great wear and great convenience!

Decent Lights!
These work great in our camping trailer. I wouldn't exactly call the light "warm," but it's not a harsh blue-white, either. Brightness seems to me to be about the same as the 1141 incandescents these replaced. Lumens are slightly lower (325 vs 402). These are truly a bargain compared to similar bulbs on specialty sites.

Love the fryer! Instructions, not so much...
A friend raved about her air fryer, so I did some research and settled on this one. It’s slightly less powerful than most at 1300w, but the price is lower and the presets, capacity (3.2 qt) and time and temp options are comparable to pricier models. So far I have made homefries, French fries and pork chops. All came out well, although fries are not quite the same as deep fried potatoes. The unit comes with a small recipe booklet. I haven’t tried those yet. The instructions that come with the unit are awful; it’s obvious they’re not from native English speakers, but the temp and time chart is useful. The controls on this are identical to the GoWise GW22621 (same manufacturer in China?), so I actually found and referred to GoWise’s instructions to figure out what one of the preset menu icons was. There are accessory kits available for air fryers that expand your cooking options to grilling and baking. I may invest in a set, as I prefer this unit over the oven or stovetop because of its speed and ease of cleanup. Although the pan and basket are supposedly dishwasher safe, I wash them by hand. I don’t trust nonstick coatings in the dishwasher. Overall, I’m quite pleased w/ my purchase, but dropped one star for the crappy instructions.
