Highly enjoyable, fun stories, easy to listen to.
Tom Hanks is not only the author, he also narrates and handles the accents very well. It contains 17 stories on 8 discs so you get your moneys worth. Mr. Hanks collects typewriters, vintage and otherwise, and many of the stories reference the usage of a typewriter. As I grew up without computers and am very familiar with a manual typewriter I found this nostalgic and fun. My only complaint ... and this applies to almost every audio CD I have listened to ... is that at the end of many discs, with only a minute or so remaining of disc space, the next story starts. You barely begin listening to a new story when the disc ends and you have to switch discs. I found this frustrating. These are 17 individual stories, the order in which you listen to them doesn't matter. Perhaps whoever is in charge of this could do some rudimentary math and work it out so that each disc starts with a new story. Just something to think about for future publications.
