Good for HO layout; same as higher priced trees
I'm using these on my HO model train layout. I spray for fall colors and do some trimming to shape them. Seems like they're the same product as the higher priced trees. I'll be buying more

Great looking; needs work to be operable
It arrived in the "as described" condition. Motor hums; lights work. I took it apart and found the plastic drive gear on the axle is stripped. Now I'm looking for replacement part. Otherwise the loco looks great.

Tricky to change out hook horn to knuckle couplers
the trucks are tricky to separate from the body. they snap into place in the body through a hole/pin arrangement. as these items may be old and brittle they break easily. the truck requires a lot modification to change the couplers from hook horn to knuckle type. You'll need a coupler box plus coupler and glue it to the car body.
