Unfinished Jane Austen novel on film
TV series based on the unfinished novel is also "unfinished" in that we don't get that "happily ever after" that we're looking for (unless Season 2 comes out) ! Well-played by the various actors .. you quickly engaged with ..
... the girl from the large family who is given the opportunity to see society and get a taste of love,
the ward who was taken from her homeland to a culture that was not hers,
... the workaholic, big-dreamer father who makes time for his children, but rarely and who also does NOT know how to manage money
... the brother who puts up the funds and falls in love with the girl
... the "grand dame" who tells it like it is
Just an all-around great Jane Austen novel put to film.
PG-14 due to mature subject matter and implied situations.
