Grey plastic-looks cheap, feels cheap
2 of 2 found this helpful I would not recommend this in any way, shape or form! Not worth the shipping to send it back. I will hang it in the garage. It would look just right in there...

Exactly what I was looking for!
Gorgeous platter, holds teapot, creamer, sugar bowl and teacups! Perfect for serving guests or family. Looks great on a sideboard in the dining room. Very charming and very well made!

Ok if you only see it in the dark
Very disappointing workmanship... the base is made of greenish brown molded plastic, too light weight for the shade, which in itself is flawed. It has 2 different colors for the metallic lines, but not in a pattern. It is black then some silver then back to black, absolutely no rhyme or reason... and the only switch is on the cord, which means the cord needs to be on the desk or work space to be turned on or off. Very disappointing!! But very pretty in the dark when you can't see anything except the glow of the shade.
