Use this for Flexvolt batteries
It's not made clear by Dewalt but one should never use the basic charger for flexvolt batteries as they require a larger input.
This fast charger is very effective for 18v-54v batteries.

Would not exchange or cancel my order.
1 of 1 found this helpful Immediately after ordering this I realised that the company had a better tool set to suit my purpose (larger and more expensive) and so I asked them to cancel the order and exchange it. I did this within the minute of purchase and before they could have even seen that the order was made because it was on a weekend. I hoped that they would ask why I requested to cancel so that I could explain but no 4 or 5 days later I recieved a message saying sorry we couldn't cancel the order as it was packaged already (3 days after I had placed and requested cancellation). The package is far too large to consider returning it as it would cost a considerable amount to do so.
So I'm not happy because I asked with plenty of perceived time to cancel and exchange and they blatantly ignored my request. I would have happily been purchasing an item almost twice the original cost but now I'm left with a large item that doesn't quite suit my needs. Thanks for the consideration guys!
