LOOMIS PRO 4X 7100
These rods are great and when they were priced at between 5 and 600 they were a decent deal. Taper is similar or the same to the NRX but different components and graphite. Kudos to Loomis for making a mid priced quality rod right in the good ole US of A. So now that they are discontinued they are a monster deal and I would recommend any of the discontinued lines including the GLX two handers, the Pro 4X single and double handed rods. Loomis has kept only a few of the trout Pro 4X rods for this year and reduced their price greatly. The rest are discontinued and stores are unloading them. Don't delay get yours today. For example the GLX two handers which are very nice and a cut above the Pro 4X in terms of components normally sold for between 7 and 800 are now going for 1/2 that (or less) new on ebay!

Refurbed Gaggia Brera
2 of 3 found this helpful Well for the price it is hard to beat. Not as much flexibility as more expensive machines in terms of brew strength but it has worked flawlessly since I got it . For less than 300.00 it is a great deal. the reservoir and refuse bin are small so if you have a big family expect to empty dregs and fill with water multiple times. Great expresso. Nice well designed compact machine

Kellam Neck Knife
This is a great piece of steel from what is becoming one of my favorite knife companies. It is super sharp and super light. Thus, it can actually be used as a neck knife as most are too heavy IMHO. If you like Scandinavian knives check out Kellam as their knives are great. The only thing I would change about this knife is the handle. It would be better if wrapped further down the exposed spine. The hook is supposed to be for looping it in a pocket and does make the handle larger in hand but the finish on the unfinished spine is rough and can wear on your hand if using it for long periods of time. However, for most things you use an edc for it is fine.
