I'm impressed
There's so many of these powered speakers to choose from.... I chose these coz the blurb looked pretty good, Creative seem to have a good reputation, and they were reasonably priced. They arrived, extremely well packaged, plugged up quick and easy and WOW!!! I had a recording studio in a past life and these actually stack up pretty well with some of the top end stuff from a few years ago. Nicely balanced, even at low levels, nice tops, pleasant mids, adjustable bass level, overall sound clean, fat, rich and full. Great speakers IMHO, and for the money would be hard to beat.

Small footprint, fat sound
2 of 2 found this helpful Early days yet but they've had a good workout and I'm very pleased with the sound. Mainly coz I like nice fat well defined punchy bass, and these do that well. Mids and tops warm, and adequate, but it's the bass that steals the show. As for how long they'll last, we'll see. My last set of Creative speakers just died after only 3 and a bit years, disappointing.
