Al enclosure

This box is well finished and appears to be good quality extrusion - although just a little ( 1mm at centre line) bowing inward of the upper and lower surfaces. The box material files readily for cutouts etc. The end plates mate well and the screws give a good finish.

06' Forester lower radiator hose too long

These Mackay hoses appear to be of good quality. Time will tell :) The top hose is a good fit. The lower hose does not fit. It is too long and the wrong shape. It might be possible to cut it and jam it on - but why bother? I found the closest aftermarket hose was made by Dayco. It was also too long and needed shortening but was closer to the correct shape. Be careful how you shorten this hose or you might end up with it being kinked at the bend. I cut a little off the radiator end only - about 3 mm at a time and three times. The Gates aftermarket hose was very similar in size and shape to the Mackay.
