Creepy movie that kept me glued to my seat!
3 of 3 found this helpful I have always been interested in witches down through history; what made them choose that life, what made them tick. This is a bleak look at why some people ( men did as well) might possibly have succombed to witchcraft. Life was brutal and dismal back in the 1600's. Witchcraft seemed to offer a way to transcend that misery - well, that is what witches have believed. The lead actress was outstanding but the whole cast were as well. I highly recommend this movie. It has an authentic feel to it with the stark setting, costumes, and the great acting of the cast.
