CD good, packaging not so good.
Excellent recording.
The bad news: The case was damaged beyond repair and there was no information booklet with the CD.

Clunky, overly large, performs basic functions. Just an OK unit.
0 of 1 found this helpful It's not a true Marantz but a replacement. Clunky and chunky it's overly large; slide down a difficult door to get to some important keys. Could I program it? Don't know as it came with no paperwork and I can't even identify the make to go on-line to get programming instructions. It does perform basic functions once you figure out the layout. But while the A/V receiver it is to be used with has 4 HDMI inputs, you only have direct access to 3 from the remote - there is a work around but it would be so much easier and better to be able to push a button to access HDMI input 4. Conclusion: I love the Marantz receiver and wish I could find a correct remote control for it.
