A unique game
I would qualify my "yes" to durability being dependent on the level of adult supervision. It is heavy cardboard, as many games are, with light cardstock cards. The concept/strategy may be a stretch for some four-year-olds, but I would say it is a good introduction to strategy and decision making. All pieces are affected by each player's turn. The "cards", which are about six inch strips, assign play to each sloth depending on which way it is oriented, which is where choice/strategy comes in. Each strip has a +2, +1, 0, and -1, in varying orders, so each player must decide which way to place the strip, either to their benefit, or perhaps another player's hindrance. It is nice to find a game for this age group that involves at least a little more than strict chance/roll of the die.
