A great wrist stabilising splint for women's hands - light & comfortable!
This product as promised, fits a lady's hand much better than the other unisex/generic brands. The soft padding under the wrist stabiliser bar adds comfort which is not present in the generic gloves. The straps are the perfect length, unlike the generic unisex brands, where they are way to long for a smaller hand. You don't have to cut the straps on this glove, and they are well designed so the edges of the straps don't catch of things, like the other glove straps do. This glove fitted my hand much better than 2 other brands I have tried. Very comfortable to wear at night.
The wrist stabiliser bar can be removed which is great for washing, and you can bend the metal bars a bit to adjust the wrist angle. The raised rounded shape at the end of the mental bar pushes into the palm of your hand and is padded. The added contact into your palm is good, but was a bit too much pressure in the palm for my particular issue. So I straightened the bar a bit to reduce the palm pressure. You can also remove the metal bar completely, and the glove itself and the thick elasticised wrist strap is sometimes enough support depending on the hand issues. I pull the metal bar in & out according the the activity. Eg: I take them out when I am driving to have full hand closure around the steering wheel, whilst I still have wrist support.
