A Christian scientist's defence of evolution by natural selection
0 of 1 found this helpful This book seems to be written just to convince those Christians who believe in a seven day Creation (young earth Christians) that they can still hold on to their Christian faith while accepting the overwhelming evidence for evolution. It seems that half of Americans believe in creation as presented in the bible, and this is causing problems because some schools teach only creationism and not evolution. It would in no way convince an atheist or agnostic that there is any 'God'. The book is an argument for accepting the evidence for evolution while also believing in a God that answers prayers and that has a part in all that goes on in the world. Not very well done, and not convincing, in my opinion.

Easy to follow and a good read. Read it twice, so far.
0 of 2 found this helpful The arguments are clear, rational and easy to follow. Consideration is given to other ideas which are dealt with fairly and unemotionally. Surprisingly readable. A good exercise in logical thought.
