Less toner cost more.
I use to use a Brother Laser printer and its toner cartridge was usually good for 18 months. I paid less for the Brother toner than the Samsung MLT-D111S. The Samsung toner lasts me 6 to 7 months with the same printing pattern as I had with the Brother laser printer.
