You may have to explain some Lieing here!
3 of 6 found this helpful I bought this set because it had good reviews and I love movies about the old days and of people who overcome hardship. This series, in my opinion started a little weak. I thought the characters didn't seem as real as they should but as it moved along it improved. Kathryn Greenwood who plays Grace was my favorite. She did a superb job of bringing out the personality of the spinster daughter. My only real complaint with this series is that everybody lies! The grandmother lies, the daughter, the mother of the two boys, Honey's brother, etc. I was surprised that no one really repented, or explained. They just kept doing it and usually it did not bring a good outcome. If you are trying to teach your children not to lie, this will not set a good example. You will have to do some explaining about not sneaking around, how to communicate instead of hiding things, and the importance of truthfulness.
