AUDIO BUDDY M-AUDIO DUAL MIC PREAMP/DIRECT BOX

A very good cost effective preamp

I've used this product for years for a live band and works exceptionally well. For the money, its a great value when you consider the cost of other preamps. The only issue I have with it is the 1/4 jacks are circuit-board mounted and consist of a plastic housing. Due to the typical abuse that happens with live sound gear, I've busted them and had to super-glue/re-solder them. Its just something to be careful of when a 1/4 cord is plugged in, to avoid yanking/pulling/stepping on the cord that puts harmful pressure on the jack. Regardless of that, I would recommend this unit, especially to someone using it for an acoustic stringed instrument
