regret
the spinner has two main pieces , the black plastic main body then a brass or copper wheel which sits on the black piece like a tire does on a bike . the brass piece literally spins on the base , it is not manufactured well . i was able to epoxy the brass piece carefully centering it , but i did not wish to buy a broken toy as a gift .

small , and small solder points as well .
used this with a 50x2 class d board , i run the amp off 24 volts so i used a 7809 vreg with some filter caps to run the eq board . in the "ad" in seemed like the knob lit up blue , not that that would matter to me i would prefer it did not , but the knob has a clear band there is no led or blue light so ... that was actually nice . i use a separate 10mm led in a bezel when i build one of these amps . we use these with modeling multi effectors and play guitars / bass and keys thru set ups like this , with 12 to 15 inch speakers , using two sealed lead acid batteries . this works very well . the only down side i would say is this , the holes to solder the input and out put are very small and close together , but totally doable . its a small board . i like the idea that the one knob is for midrange not balance s when does one use the balance knob ? this is also one of the few unit s that runs on dc availible most are powered from ac .
