Sharp blades for good price
3 of 3 found this helpful I used to use Van Der Hagen blades. I thought they were a good deal in comparison to Gillete Proglides. After doing some online research, I noticed that a lot of people dislike Van Der Hagen blades. After trying these blades, I now see why. I used to cut myself while shaving with VDH blades (they also tugged a lot), but I thought that was just a part of using a safety razor. I was dead wrong; these Astra blades are much cheaper and much better blades as well. These Astra blades are sharper, more comfortable, and give me a much closer shave without any irritation. These are now my favorite blades. Can't believe it took me this long to stop using Van Der Hagen blades. They suck compared to Astra SP.
