Naruto Comes to US for the PS2!
6 of 11 found this helpful Naruto eh..? Yea.. I heard about.. it's about some ninjas and.. there's that one game on Gamecube... yeah...
Well... basically the game for the gamecube isn't that.. great. However, Naruto Ultimate Ninja pulls out a secret move and suprises us with the beautiful graphic long cinema "secret techniques" as well as a kind of super-smash feel gaming.
Summary : DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME THE ULTIMATE NINJA? This game is based on the anime Naruto. Most Naruto fans will go crazy about this game but non-fans will just enjoy it but not as much. They will most likely play Super Smash Bros than this because they are more familiar with the characters. Yet, this game does have some neat stuff like the cinemas showing when you do a "secret technique" and the added button pushing when doing the "secret technique" to further damage your opponent or take reduced damage. (Enables a mode kind of like DDR and the faster you push the corresponding buttons, you either take reduced damage or do more damage depending on if you are the attacker or defender of the move).
Gameplay : Simple yet requires fast movement like Super Smash Bros. The guard button is unique because when you push it at the right time, you are able to dodge your opponent's attack and have a chance to strike back. Also, when you do a special throw, you are able to counter it by pushing O + directional pad toward your opponent. As you counter it, your opponent can counter it too therefore seeing who can continue to time it right for the attack and whoever cannot keep it to take the hit. Fast gameplay required. Special attacks can be activated by pushing the corresponding buttons at the right time. Also, basically what you mostly do in this game is just complete story mode about characters and do missions to earn money and raise your rank. You can also fight with your friends as your favorite Naruto characters using your Ninjitsu.
Sound : Great Naruto music. It not only feels right but also for the surrounding environment too. It has a nice catch to it and you can listen to them again after you achieve them in the game from the shop in the game. Sadly, dubbed games are always a disappointing act. Some of the characters sound good like Naruto. But there are others that will really annoy you.
Overall : Overall, this game is decent depending if you are a hardcore Naruto fan or just a regular gamer. It has its good points yet its bad. It is not the perfect game but it is a bit like Super Smash Bros.

Kingdom Hearts 2 the sequel
2 of 2 found this helpful Kingdom Hearts fans BEWARE! This is the sequel to one of the great games out for PS2. Disney + Final Fantasy combined in this sequel.
Summary : Sora is back again to try to find his friends Riku and Kairi. After the first game of Kingdom Hearts, he is still trying to find them after Ansem was defeated. Heartless are back and continue to swarm the worlds and Sora, Donald, and Goofy are here to help defend as well as the many allies that will help you. Similiar to the first game with some additions including the new Drive Mode which allows Sora to go into a fury with double keyblades to do massive damage and has some unique skills. New summons as well as new allies to help you triumph! Different worlds to explore and a bit of a more unique way to fight with new combos and skills.
Gameplay : Very similiar to the old Kingdom Hearts. A new addition is the combo addition where you can push "triangle" to do some crazy combos. Graphics are slightly improved since the first one with some brilliant graphics on the spells and skills that are seen. Very easy to understand how to play and easy to catch up on the controls. But you should play the first Kingdom Hearts because it's more of a sequel than a new game. That means, play the first one or you won't understand the story and you will be confused.
Sound : Music is great. Voice of characters seems like your watching a disney movie because the voice sounds like it.
Overall : A sequel to Kingdom Hearts. Just a bit to further the story because in the first one, it kind of was a cliff hanger. If you liked the first one, you'll like this one too. A fun game and a great game for both disney fans and final fantasy fans.

Final Fantasy XII hits the spot!
7 of 12 found this helpful Final Fantasy XII... a great feeling.
Final Fantasy XII comes out with many positive things which makes everyone loves this game more. Whether it be the new battle system, the new license system (similiar to the FFX Sphere Grid system), or just plainly the beautiful graphics makes us gamers wanting more.
Summary : Basically, this game has many things to attract players. Stunningly beautiful graphics, a new "license system grid", or just plainly watching your party automatically attack the huge monster on the screen. This game has a battle system similiar to the one on FFXI. NO MORE RANDOM BATTLES! Enemies appear on the screen and you fight them as you see them like a MMORPG. FFXII gives you sort of a feel like you're in a MMORPG... which is a pretty good feeling I might say...
Gameplay : Battle System like FFXI where you run up to enemies and do your battle. You fight on screen and can move around when fighting like FFXI. Your party can be controlled by "gambits" which are commands that you want to do in every fight. You can always control them manually if you want the feel of controlling every character in battle.
Sound : Excellent music. A beautiful soundtrack. The music hits the spot in almost every part of the game whether it be the battle music or the world map tune. It makes you feel like you're in the game and the music is greatly composed.
Overall : Overall, this game is excellent and a must get! Final Fantasy XII just brings out a lot and it packs a punch. This game is great and addictive. It makes you want to not stop playing. Cant stop, wont stop!
