Great for Beginning Birders

I am a novice birder and this is my go-to book. My mother has the Ohio version and when we hike we take these along. They are easy to carry, easy to read, and we both like the full color pictures of actual birds in their habitats rather than just illustrations. Sometimes there isn't enough information in this book, but it always leads me to a place to start more in depth research if needed. Be sure to read the beginning tips on identifying birds. Mr. Tekiela really helped me learn to deduce which species I am looking at. This is a great guide in a new photo format as opposed to older guides that use illustrations.

Great for Beginning Bird Watchers

Taking a beginning bird watching class from our local Audubon chapter and this is the book our teacher recommended. It is very helpful and systematic about helping you learn to identify birds within just the first 25 pages! I can already tell a difference in the way I approach identifying a bird, and I enjoy bird watching more!

Best fitting Puzzle and Best puzzle Maker

Best fitting puzzle and best design for a 500 piece puzzle, my first. I usually do 1000 piece puzzles. This was also my first Ravensburger puzzle, but not my last! I ordered two more because of this puzzle. I love the design, and it kept me interested from beginning to end. It took me 3 days to finish ( 20-30 minute sessions.) I usually pass my puzzles along to others, but this one I will keep and re-do in a few years. It brought me joy.
