Too bad they don't make it anymore

Hands down better than standard thermostat
The Ecobee costs about the same as a standard programmable thermostat but it's waaaay better: control from your phone, smart software means less HVAC switching on and off, display shows current outside temperature and weather forecast, etc, etc. Think of your old programmable thermostat as a flip phone and the Ecobee as a modern Android. There's no comparison.

Good all-around phone
This is a great all-around phone, I've owned 4 or 5 of them. Highlights are functionality and long battery life (though this one's battery is a bit of a lemon) and the drawbacks are that Android is no longer updating the software so that has some drawbacks and maybe security issues. But for now, instead of buying new phones, we're getting these used and that way we don't care too much if we drop them in the toilet. I use a new Moto G Power at work and I like my old G5 Plus better.
