I installed Linux onto mine and it runs very well. Only con is that there is nothing to cover the USB end when not using it.

Works well, some overheat
1 of 1 found this helpful Works surprisingly well for a $1 WiFi adapter, works in both Windows and Linux out of the box. Has okay throughput and signal, a little bit on the low side for a 802.11n adapter, but its $1 so not going to complain. Only complaint I do have is that (out of the ones that I've tested so far) 1 of them gets really hot really quickly when I am bandwidth testing, and goes from about 50 mbits to 1 mbit for a few seconds every 10 seconds. Other ones I've tested don't seem to have this problem, or maybe its just less obvious.
