Better than the "new" cheap Chinese DVRs
This unit is WAY better that the current heap Chinese units being sold on eBay/Amazon. I have used both and this one is more sensitive (receives more TV stations) AND the problems of audio and video syncing on the "new" cheap units is piratically non-existent on this unit. I enjoy recording "off the air" programs and this unit has never failed me. I use inexpensive 2.5 inch hard drives and find them to work better than SSD or flash drives.
