Not as grippy as you would hope
The pin is supposed to grip the board before being soldered, and to stay put when the solder melts in order to make a solid contact when a wire is attached. These have just two splines, 180° apart, to hold them in place. These are better than some (which don’t have any splines!) but not as good as you would hope.

My last replacement remote (from a different vendor) was not 100% functionally compatible, and failed after 11 months (most used buttons not working without excessive force). Glad to get a 100% GENUINE remote for a little extra, so full functionality restored. Hopefully it will also have a more acceptable life span.

Looks nice in the picture, but too wobbly for actual use.
There is a scale to read off the X axis positioning. It is a piece of a larger scale cut down so it reads from 16 cm to 18 cm. It is not fixed, or fixable, so it just slides around! The scales on the handwheels are not etched into the wheel body, They are sticky labels which are already peeling. Of course there is massive backlash on each screw axis, but worse than that, the axes are not stable in the other directions. You have three screws per axis to press plain plates into the grooves on the slide. When the wobble is reduced adequately, the slide is then partially binding, despite having just been greased up.
I expect all similar equipment at this price point will also be disappointing and pretty much unusable.
