Under the Overpass
I bought this book because I saw a write up about it in our local paper. What interested me was that this young man felt God calling him to live like a street person. My husband and I work at a local mission everyother Sat. for 4 hours. We give coffee, chat, and sell clothes for fifty cents and item. We have befriended several men who live on the street. I was interested in knowing what it was really like. I was not disappointed when I read the book. I have recommended it to many people and have several copies myself that I lend to friends. What I also liked is that some of the street language was left out, also telling us it was. This way our young people get a chance to see something off what it is like living on the street with out the awful language. I keep checking to see if there are any more on ebay to hand out so I don't want to spend more than $9.00 a book.
