Replacement motherboard.
Perfect working order motherboard. No bad capacitors. Had to get Windows 10 Pro revalidated via the telephone process because the Microsoft instructions did not work. But it was relativly painless. Just had to enter a 50 character number I received by voice over the telephone from a non-native English speaker. Wow! It actually worked!

If you lose the remote, you cannot play the DVD player. Don't loss your remote!
