A proper top quality scanner work with images Photo scan print buy Canon the best quality kit bought this as an upgrade as my previous Canon at 12 years old became unusable due to no drivers for windows8 upgraded computers This unit is quiet, fast and produces excellent quality images at very high resolution used for old B/W images and negatives easy set up simple to use Tried a HP this is by far the best the only thing better than this would be a Canon 9600F Think images Think Canon
