30 Watt Soldering Iron
This was purchased to replace the same exact one I bought over 25 years ago. I bought this one because it is an exact replacement to the one I had been using.
The Soldering Iron was bought to continue to be able to repair small circuitry{NOT SMD components!} and build my own circuits for my Garden Railroad and repair of my modified Steam Locomotive Smoke Units.
This iron is excellent for soldering standard components and some slightly larger items. However it is not well suited for Surface Mount Devices{SMD}, and I would not recommend it for those very, tiny, small components. But for standard size Printed Circuits with standard sized resistors and components, this iron is very well suited to and for that task.
The iron heats quickly, although finding replacement tips might be a challenge.
This was a very good value and a good quality soldering iron Highly recommend it!
I am very pleased with it and know it will do the job I will use it for.
I've read comments about it being flimsy and not really practical for long term use, i use this iron almost daily for 6-10 hours of use and have encountered no real issues with it. I have neither found it flimsy or impractical during my use of it.
An excellent quality iron and I am very pleased with it, and its performance.

+5VDC L7805CV Voltage Regulators
Just what I needed to make repairs on some modified train smoke units in my Garden Railroad Steam Locomotives.
Exact replacement component for my own designed circuitry to power the smoke units in many of my LarGe Scale Locomotives. Good quality item, a perfect replacement.

XH2.54 3 Pin Connectors
Bought these connectors in conjunction with the L7805CV voltage regulators, as the female end with wires are used as sockets for the L7805CV regulator in my Garden Railroad Steam Locomotives. They worked very well to hold the L7805CV in place to make for easier replacement of one that could go bad during it's lifetime. Although the L7805CV does not fit flush in this connector, it is very usable. You may need to add some very small pieces of heat shrinkable tubing to the exposed leads on the L7805CV that don't fully seat into the connector. But as the connector is ribbed on the back side, this may not really be necessary since these ribs hold the connector just enough off the surface to keep these exposed leads from making contact.
